He earned his MBBS from Sri Devraj Urs Medical College, MS in General Surgery from JSS Medical College, Mysore, and MCh in Surgical Oncology from Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Bengaluru.

Previously serving as a Senior Resident and Assistant Professor at Vydehi, he contributed significantly to surgical training, academic development, and mentoring young surgeons.
