In 1996, he graduated with honors from the Second Tashkent State Medical Institute with a degree in General Medicine.
From 1996 to 1998, he completed his clinical residency at the Department of Faculty and Hospital Surgery of the same institute.
In 1998, he entered postgraduate studies (PhD program).
In September 2000, he defended his PhD dissertation ahead of schedule on the topic: “Laparoscopic cholecystectomy as the method of choice for the treatment of chronic calculous cholecystitis.”
In 2010, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: “Development and improvement of video-assisted thoracoscopic interventions.”
In 2020, he received the academic title of Professor of Surgery.
